Beverley Cornthwaite - I am the Owner

My name is Beverley Cornthwaite and along with my Husband Andy and our 3 children, we live and farm arable and sheep and run the boarding kennels here at Icknield Farm.

I worked in kennels as a teenager then trained as a veterinary nurse for 41/2 years, before I  set up Mrs Doolittles pet sitters in 2001, and then the old pastures boarding kennels in 2006 and the grooming a few years later. 

I choose to only have a few larger kennels which means we have more time to spend with each dog and to work with the owners to make each dogs stay is a happy one!

Along side myself I have a team of kennel assistance, Tanya Brooke-Craft Head assistant, has worked at The kennels since 2015 went she first come to do work experience, then went on to work weekends and since May 2021 working full time.
